Never without her sketchbook, Ashley combines her artistic talent, creative brain and genuine heart to all of her pieces. Her biggest enjoyment is creating characters, and works to bring through personality and emotion to enhance the story. Speaking as her mom, she is an amazing big sister, and I think her unique experience allows her to see people in a deep way.
A high school senior, she has her sights set on developing this gift further after graduation.
My favorite toy growing up was a set of blocks, and I would spend hours building houses with secret tunnels for my figurines. I loved the creativity combined with the structure.
Much of my education and work experience reflected this same combination. I have a masters degree in economics, where I enjoyed learning how numbers could tell stories. I also spent over a decade helping financial advisors with their marketing and web design. While currently in the corporate world, I'm enjoying this new venture to incorporate the REID food lifestyle - expanding the creativity while keeping the structure.
